It’s no fun being sick, especially little kids who are often so full of energy. Sitting still is hard to do. They also like to know that someone is thinking about them, as do most people. All teens are different, but some ideas for girls might include; lip gloss, fingernail polish, hair accessories, gel pens, activity pad, puzzle book, journal, movie, or a music cd. For boys, some ideas could also include movies or music, as well as a game for his console.

It might be wise to not give candy to the very little kids, since a lot of different candies can be choking hazards. Placing a candy bouquet right in the middle of the kids get well soon baskets will make a very impressive display that is sure to put a smile on any kid’s face, no matter how sick he or she is at the time.
